LPMC 2024 In Review:
We had our 2024 annual meeting & elections in January 2024. Guest speakers Dr. David Henderson and Hon. Judge Stephanie Hulsey joined us as well as multiple members of the Civil Grand Jury. In July, LPMC members joined the Libertarians For Peace to march in the Monterey 4th of July Parade. Through the year, LPMC has been hosting either a “Freedom Coffee” or a “Liberty & Libations” Happy Hour almost every month for libertarians and liberty minded folks to come together and meet other like-minded liberty advocates. LPMC members have been tabling & doing outreach at the downtown Monterey farmer’s market. We continue to oppose the Monterey & Salinas rental registry and rent control ordinances. LPMC members were also active in opposing Measure A (bond), Measure C (bond), and Measure AA (sales tax) this election cycle. Our 2025 Annual Meeting, elections, & pizza dinner, with Dr. David Henderson, is coming up again on January 23, 2025. Please join us!!!
