The Libertarian Party of Monterey County is privileged to have Mr. Jeff Whitmoyer join us to speak at our next Liberty & Libations meetup on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 (5:30 pm). Mr. Whitmoyer is running for City Council in Monterey, District 2. He is running on a platform of fiscal accountability and describes himself as libertarian leaning.

The address for London Bridge Pub is 256 Figueroa St in Monterey, CA, on Wharf #2. We will likely be in the back room.
We will socialize for around 15 or 20 minutes before the talk begins. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 5:30pm, as early as possible in order to get food/beverage orders in and seating arranged so that the speaker can begin promptly.

Also, mark your calendars for our Sept 8 Freedom Coffee, when we will welcome Luke Coletti to come speak to us. Mr. Coletti is a former City Council member of Pacific Grove and is now running for Mayor. Mr. Coletti spear-headed the successful referendum effort to overturn the increase in city council compensation in Pacific Grove.
