The California Libertarian Convention is fast approaching! As the 2025 Convention Committee Chair, I would like to warmly encourage you to avail yourself of this opportunity to participate in this most important event of the year for libertarians in the Golden State, to take place July 25-27 in Santa Nella, California.
The Convention will be held at the Hotel Mission de Oro, a mission-style oasis with Spanish-inspired decor nestled off of Interstate 5. Our hotel offers charm, luxury, and serenity in the heart of the Central Valley, boasting a stunning courtyard with cascading fountains, lush gardens, and a majestic 9-story bell tower, complemented by an inviting outdoor pool, a hot tub, and a top-tier fitness center. Meals will be provided by The Kitchen at The Mission, which offers locally sourced, exquisite cuisine.
We have an incredible line up of events, including a Friday night reception with speakers Boomer Shannon, Mike Sertic and Larry Sharpe, as well as a Saturday night gala headlining a panel of esteemed national libertarian activists including Steven Nekhaila, Spike Cohen, Larry Sharpe, and Lars Mapstead. We are also offering two luncheon speaker events featuring entrepreneur and agribusinessman Chris Rufer on Saturday and award-winning journalist and producer Naomi Brockwell on Sunday. In addition, our weekend will include the opportunity on either Friday or Monday to tour a tomato processing factory with the largest production scale in the world, owned and operated by our own libertarian visionary Chris Rufer.
Now is an excellent time to involve yourself in libertarian politics in California! We will be voting for all Party officer and Area Coordinator positions, filling ten Ex-Com openings, choosing one LNC Region Four Alternate as well as selecting two new JC members.
