The Libertarian Party of Monterey County was pleased to host Tom Woodard and Lars Mapstead in a candidate forum on March 20, 2026. Woodard is the Libertarian candidate running for Governor of California. Mapstead is a former Presidential candidate and is now the Libertarian candidate running for U.S. House District 19 in California. The two candidates shared their backgrounds and platforms with us, followed by Q & A.
