Join the Libertarians For Peace in the Tues., July 4th 2023 Parade in Monterey.
Dr. David Henderson and Lawrence Samuels are spearheading the Libertarians for Peace and various pro-freedom groups’ contingent at this year’s Independence Day parade, which is sponsored by the Old Monterey Business Association. Come and show that libertarians, classical liberals, conservative libertarians, and voluntaryists are the strongest supporters of both peace and freedom.
Everyone is to meet in the staging area in the back parking lot at the large medical building—576 Hartnell Street — (across from Monterey’s main post office) around 9:00 – 9:30 AM. Our spot is number 29. The parade starts at 10 AM and we will march down Alvarado Street and Calle Principal. Some tricorne hats will be available.
Nearly 60 groups will be participating in this annual celebration! The parade features bands, floats, specialty units, and special guests. Thousands of spectators always line the parade route through downtown Monterey to watch this celebration!
